Welcome to our conference website! All year long, our dedicated Organizing Committee has been working hard to provide a multi-discipline bilingual forum to discuss and share your ideas about shaping our future in the dynamic and ever-expanding field of Computer Science.
Computer Science plays a massive role in nearly every aspect of today’s society. Everything we do is being pushed forward by new waves of technology. From the smart devices in our homes to the artificial intelligence slowly coming into our healthcare system, technology has shaped how we live and learn. It’s almost hard to imagine what life was like before we had the convenience of the internet and mobile technology. This impact motivates us to keep pushing further and discovering new things, and that is what the Canadian Undergraduate Computer Science Conference is all about.
The Canadian Undergraduate Computer Science Conference is an annual, national conference centered around computer science research by Canadian undergraduate students and their research teams. This year, the conference is coming to the University of Windsor, Ontario on July 25th - 27th, 2019. The University of Windsor is uniquely situated on the precipice of the Detroit River and Canada’s busiest international border. This location speaks to the University of Windsor’s strength as an internationally oriented and diverse institution that encourages different backgrounds of students, faculty, and staff to pressure educational and research excellence. We strongly encourage all of you to partake in this educational initiative by demonstrating your efforts in research excellence with other students from across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity to convene and discuss the challenges and future of Computer Science, its impact on our daily lives, as well as its impact on other fields such as business and health sciences while participating undertaking foundational professional development activities.
The 2019 Canadian Undergraduate Computer Science Conference is a premier venue to provide delegates with an amazing opportunity to step outside of their comfort zones and develop communication and leadership skills. Our vision is to promote a trans-disciplinary collaborative environment to broaden the horizons of undergraduate computer scientists and all our guests. The organizing committee seeks to deliver an outstanding forum for computer science and affiliated multidisciplinary fields. We envision an environment in which excitement is generated and a deeper appreciation is developed towards the many disciplines and applications of computing. We want our conference attendees to leave the conference with more knowledge, confidence, and a greater degree of enthusiasm and optimism towards their future endeavors than when they arrive.
Our objective is to provide our guests and attendees with an enriched experience through offering an interactive platform to present their research, creative workshops, experiential and problem-based learning opportunities, and talks from notable entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and charismatic and insightful guest speakers.
Please take some time to explore our website to learn more about the exciting opportunities you will be able to undertake at our one of a kind conference. Questions? Send us an email at email@example.com. Looking forward to seeing you there!
